Van & Chris l The Villa at Ridder Country Club

9.27.2012

On Saturday, September 1st 2012, I had the honor of coordinating Van and Chris' gorgeous wedding day. The beautiful, Bride got ready with her bridesmaids at her sister's house in Canton with hair and make up done by the ladies of From Hair To Eternity. Van looked unbelievably stunning in her wedding dress and her veil was extremely long and the most beautiful I've ever seen. Van and Chris had their "first look" in Canton followed by the ceremony at St. Bernadette's Church in Randolph, MA. Some of my personal favorites, Geneve Rege Photography and videography by Brighter Lights Media were on site to capture the entire wedding day. After the ceremony, Classic Limousines of New England took the bridal party back to the bride's father's house in Milton to rest up before taking off to Whitman Park for more pictures.

The reception took place at The Villa in East Bridgewater and the staff at this venue are just incredible to work with. The cocktail hour took place on the grounds of The Villa near the gazebo and the reception was inside the tent. The lovely ladies at Beach Plum Floral and Event did a wonderful job with the floral arrangements creating two very different type of look for the tables; violet hydrangeas with delphinium flowers in tall vases and a single cymbidium orchid filled with rocks on the bottom in a smaller vase and all were surrounded by candles with mercury candle holders crafted by the bride herself! One of my favorites from the wedding was the insanely beautiful wedding cake from Konditor Meister which had five layers with nude and peach toned flower fondants surrounding the entire cake.

Van and Chris' wedding was so much fun and their friends and families sure knew how to have a good time! DJ Derek of Groove Entertainment did a wonderful job getting the crowd pumped and the dance floor was packed all night. Guests also got to enjoy a "fun booth" created by the couple's friend, Casper of Inception Fotos. Towards the end of the evening, guests were surprised with a late night snack of mini sliders and french fries served in a very stylish way, in a enormous wok!

Lisa & Will l Hei La Moon Reception

9.13.2012

On June 9th 2012, I had the pleasure of being Lisa and Will's Day-of Coordinator for their beautiful wedding held in Boston. Our bride, Lisa and her bridesmaids started the day bright and early with hair and make up done by the fabulous ladies at From Hair To Eternity. Lisa was one of the calmest brides I've encountered. She was always smiling and having such a moment with her bridesmaids. I hope one day when I get marry, I'll be just as relaxed as Lisa! :)

The couple began the wedding day with a traditional tea ceremony performed at both parent's home in Milton and Malden, MA. Afterwards, we headed to The State Room in Boston for the actually ceremony. The State Room has the most gorgeous skyline of the city and Lisa and Will made such a wonderful choice choosing this venue. Dana of Bumble Bee Landing designed the soft palette floral arrangements and Photographer, Glen of DMPJ Photography captured the day perfectly. Maria from New England Conservatory played the harpist for the ceremony as well as the cocktail hour and the bride's little cousins from Canada performed a special piece dedicated to the bride and groom. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on the mezzanine level.

There were few hours in between before the reception so the entire bridal party took advantage of the gorgeous city for more photographs. My assistants and I headed to Hei La Moon in Chinatown to start setting up for the banquet. The escort cards were heart shaped and individually folded by the couple themselves. They turned out so pretty but can you imagine how much time it took? By the way, there were over 300 guests at the reception! As for the centerpieces, they were orchid plants attached with a different picture of Lisa and Will holding numbers used as table numbers.

Konditor Meister based in Braintree did a great job with the wedding cake design and DJ Nick of Beat Train Productions was terrific and really got the crowd going the entire night. Guests also enjoyed the photo booth station put together by the bride's brother, David. Towards the end the evening, our wonderful friends at  Brighter Lights Media shared a same day edit video on a large screen of Lisa and Will's wedding day and there was not a dry eye in the room!

Lisa and Will, thank you so much for allowing us to take part of your special day and trusting us with one of the most important day of your lives. Special thanks to my wonderful assistants, Alecia and Phil.

Sweet Planning!
