Ada & Phung's Mass Horticultural Society Wedding

11.02.2015

Ada and Phung celebrated their elegant wedding this past August at The Massachusetts Horticultural Society Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA. I think it's safe to say I've fallen in love with A&P's wedding and looking back at these pictures taken by the talented Kris Rae Photography reminded me how much fun we had coordinating it.

Ada and Phung's guests were treated to all types of scrumptious-ness for cocktail and dinner hours. There was a beautiful seafood raw bar set up along with options from barbecue and Vietnamese food for the entrees.

Everything from the floral to the adorable diy honey favors were just beautiful. Even with the pouring rain and lightning through out the day, Ada and Phung really were such troopers and enjoyed the night with their loved ones.

Thanks to Ada and Phung for allowing us to coordinate your wedding day and to all the wonderful vendors for making this day so special for our couple. We absolutely adore working with you both!

Anh & Leon's Belle Mer Wedding l Part 1

6.14.2012

On May 26th 2012, I had the honor of coordinating Anh and Leon's extravagant wedding held at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island. It was Memorial Day weekend and the bride and groom couldn't have chosen a better long weekend to get married. The day started early with the Bride and the bridesmaid's getting their hair and make up done at the Salon Room at Belle Mer. Jennie Kay- A Beauty Parlor styled all the ladies hair with Nam Vo of New York, did the bride and some of the bridal parties gorgeous make up. The bride wore a breathtaking strapless, sweetheart, mermaid gown with asymmetrical pleated bodice and cut organza blossom hem from the Vera Wang Fall Collection with blue Christian Louboutin pumps. (If you're thinking WOW, just wait until you see the beautiful bride change into her second look!)  Mark Kuroda Photography from San Fransisco was there to capture all the special moments and David Long of Epic Filmmakers was the videographer. Both vendors were so amazing to work with and I highly recommend them!

The ceremony took place outside at the Water Salon Lawn. When the bride began to walk down the aisle, drops of rain started to come down. But the super-calm, Bride, gave us the signal to just go with it anyways. When the bride made it down the aisle to meet her handsome groom, the sun started to come out and the weather for the entire evening was nothing but perfect! It truly was a memorable moment for everyone. Kreative Vision Floral, were the masterminds behind the beautiful blush tone centerpieces and bridal bouquets.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom were greeted with champagne and I took them over to the thumbprint guest book so they can be the first to sign it. Meanwhile, guest enjoyed cocktail hour at the Water Salon and were treated to 5 different passed horsd'oeuvres; gouda mac & cheese, tuna tartare, petite fish taco, carne assada and jerk chicken salad.

Remember to come back to our blog next week to hear about Anh and Leon's Wedding Part 2! You'll see photos of the bride's stunning second dress, couple's first dance, lots of dancing at the reception and hear about the rest of the vendors who made this wedding happen!

Sweet Planning!
Linda
