Van & Chris l The Villa at Ridder Country Club

9.27.2012

On Saturday, September 1st 2012, I had the honor of coordinating Van and Chris' gorgeous wedding day. The beautiful, Bride got ready with her bridesmaids at her sister's house in Canton with hair and make up done by the ladies of From Hair To Eternity. Van looked unbelievably stunning in her wedding dress and her veil was extremely long and the most beautiful I've ever seen. Van and Chris had their "first look" in Canton followed by the ceremony at St. Bernadette's Church in Randolph, MA. Some of my personal favorites, Geneve Rege Photography and videography by Brighter Lights Media were on site to capture the entire wedding day. After the ceremony, Classic Limousines of New England took the bridal party back to the bride's father's house in Milton to rest up before taking off to Whitman Park for more pictures.

The reception took place at The Villa in East Bridgewater and the staff at this venue are just incredible to work with. The cocktail hour took place on the grounds of The Villa near the gazebo and the reception was inside the tent. The lovely ladies at Beach Plum Floral and Event did a wonderful job with the floral arrangements creating two very different type of look for the tables; violet hydrangeas with delphinium flowers in tall vases and a single cymbidium orchid filled with rocks on the bottom in a smaller vase and all were surrounded by candles with mercury candle holders crafted by the bride herself! One of my favorites from the wedding was the insanely beautiful wedding cake from Konditor Meister which had five layers with nude and peach toned flower fondants surrounding the entire cake.

Van and Chris' wedding was so much fun and their friends and families sure knew how to have a good time! DJ Derek of Groove Entertainment did a wonderful job getting the crowd pumped and the dance floor was packed all night. Guests also got to enjoy a "fun booth" created by the couple's friend, Casper of Inception Fotos. Towards the end of the evening, guests were surprised with a late night snack of mini sliders and french fries served in a very stylish way, in a enormous wok!

Early Birthday Fun l The Paint Bar

3.07.2012

Every year, I celebrate my birthday by having a fabulous dinner with loved ones. We go into the city and I have the best time! But this year, I wanted to do something different - so glad we did. I've heard about The Paint Bar located in Newton, MA for couple of years now, but never made an attempt to try it out. How it works is that you go onto their website, choose a date that fits your schedule, reserve a spot online and get ready to paint and drink. Trust me, I'm no Picasso but The Paint Bar brings in an instructor to guide you step by step which made me feel a lot better.

The cost per person is $35 and it included everything besides alcohol; a 16x20 canvas, paint, brushes, easel and apron. Alcohol cost weren't that expensive either costing $6 per drink. Here are a few photos from last night. I heart birthdays.

My station is ready
Paint, check! Brushes, check!
Wine, CHECK CHECK CHECK!
Our instructor for the evening was great!

The next time you're hosting a bridal shower or a bachelorette, I highly recommend The Paint Bar to bring out your creative side. Special thanks to the amazing ladies who came out to celebrate my early birthday. You sure know how to make a girl feel loved!

{Engaged} Van & Chris

1.26.2012

Our wonderful couple, Van and Chris are getting married this upcoming September at The Villa in East Bridgewater, MA and I can't wait to coordinate their big day. These two people compliment each other so well, I really can't imagine anyone out there that either of them would possibly fit with. Geneve Rege did such a fantastic job taking these engagement photos around Beacon Hill and the Charles River in Boston.

Van and Chris, you both look great and I especially love that red coat on you darling!

Totally 80's Party Invitations

1.05.2012

Happy New Year everyone! This past weekend was my boyfriend's 30th birthday and we went back in time - 80's style. The party was a lot of fun and our guests had an excellent time. One of the details we remained to get praises for were the invitations I created for the party. I honestly believe an invitation is an important element to any party or wedding since it's the first impression guests will have of your event.

The 80's themed birthday invitations were custom audio cassette tapes completed with j-cards and plastic cases. The tapes didn't actually play anything but had all the important details posted on the cassettes. The j-cards (paper card inserted in the plastic case of most audio cassettes) were made out of a glossy matte paper cut to fit inside the plastic cases. I'm really pleased with how they turned out and so ecstatic our friends and families loved them too. Not too bad for a first timer, if I may say so myself!

I hope you all have a wonderful 2012 and congratulations to all the newly engaged couples!

Happy Birthday

11.04.2011

I have a lot to be grateful for this year and this company is one of them. A year ago, I started Lemon Drop Team because I desperately wanted to offer a service that allows couples to enjoy their wedding day instead of worrying about the minor details. Along the way, I've been fortunate enough to have met so many fabulous couples who trusted me to coordinate one of the most important days of their lives. The bond that I've built with my brides and grooms are truly special and I'm blessed every day that I get to do what I love.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all of you who has been following and spreading the love about Lemon Drop Team! We can't wait to share many more sweets, weddings and smiles with you on our blog.
