Carly & Bob's Multicultural Arts Center Wedding

10.27.2015

Carly and Bob's wedding at the Multicultural Arts Center this past September was absolutely beautiful. The wedding ceremony was taken place outdoors by the courtyard followed by cocktail hour and reception inside the theater. The wedding colors Carly chose were shades of lavender, gold and pink and they all worked gorgeously together.

The table numbers were replaced with names of places that C&B have traveled to such as Santorini, London and Athens. One of my favorite details of the night was the cupcake dessert station catered by Georgetown Cupcakes on Newbury Street and coordinated by our very own, Alecia of Lemon Drop Team. Big thanks to our friend Deborah of Deborah Zoe Photography for sharing these beautiful pictures from Carly and Bob's wedding!

I'm so embarrassed that it's been so long since I've blogged about one of our weddings. Hopefully this year I can find some more time to show off our beautiful wedding couples. I highly recommend going onto our Facebook and Instagram post under Lemon Drop Team to see more photos and all the vendors that help make each of the weddings possible! :)

Liznay & Norberto l Wish Upon A Wedding

8.29.2012

When you meet a Bride as gorgeous as Liznay inside and out, you are one lucky coordinator! I first met Liznay and Norberto through Wish Upon A Wedding, an organization granting wishes for couples facing terminal illness. Liznay was 31 years old and diagnosed with the horrible disease, cervical cancer and it had spread through out her lungs and thighs. Norberto and Liznay were childhood sweethearts and he was by Liznay's side every step of the way through treatments and all. On June 6th 2012, with the help of a wonderful organization and many amazing Boston vendors, Liznay and Norberto were given their dream wedding held at The Villa at Ridder Country Club in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

With sadness, on July 12th 2012, a little over a month after the wedding, Liznay lost her battle to cancer at her Taunton home. There are no words to describe this tragedy, but remembering Liznay's smile on her wedding gives me some comfort we all have done a remarkable job putting together this wedding. Liznay, rest peacefully, we'll miss your kind soul and that beautiful smile.

Anh & Leon's Belle Mer Wedding l Part 2

8.24.2012

Hi everyone! I apologize for the delay, it's been a crazy wedding season but I'm finally back to wrap up Anh and Leon's wedding that we coordinated this year. If you haven't read Part 1 yet, be sure to check it out here.

Anh and Leon started the reception with their first dance and DJ Boogz along with the Boston Common Band did such a wonderful job with the entertainment. High Output Inc. provided the lighting for the space and it really made the room soft and romantic. Guests were treated to a mouth watering menu options from; filet mignon, smoked short ribs and wild striped bass. One of my favorite wedding cake vendors, Dessert Works provided the four tiered wedding cake. As always, they never disappoint! After dinner, the party really got started and the dance floor was quite the popular spot along with the flip book station provided by the Flip Chix. Flip books are so much fun and if you're looking for something else besides the photo booth, this is it. The Bride took a moment to change into her second dress by Jovani with the back of the dress custom made. Anh wore an equally gorgeous ballet flats by Jimmy Choo.

The entire evening was filled with so much energy and surprises. Before the evening ended, guests were treated to a late night menu from; mini burgers, tater tots, milk shake shots, macarons and the cutest minion cookies made by the Bride's friend. Flip flops were also available for the guests who were dancing the night away on the dance floor. Now that's what you call the royal treatment!!
